Email this job to a friendASG have been asked to bring in a Business Continuity Manager for a key role with one of the worlds leading FS groups.
The key responsibilities are –
- Ensures that the process meet business unit needs and comply with relevant BC standards, policies and baselines
- Provide representation for BC on audit and regulatory matters pertaining to business continuity
- Provide consultancy for all Lines of Business (LOB) in regards to their BC programme
- Manage the Regional Recovery Centre and testing schedule
- Responsible for the management of scheduled BC events
- Responsible for LOB Co-Ordinator and Manager training
- Responsible for delivery of the Business Continuity awareness program
- Represent Business Continuity on ad hoc bank initiatives and projects
- Ensures integrity and accuracy of process and tools used to support crisis management efforts within region
- Declaration & on-going management of an incident or event
- Emergency Management Response: Work as part of a team to provide 24 hour on-call support
- Responsible for enhancing internal and external relationships
Core Skills are:-
- Relevant experience in developing, analyzing, and deploying business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
- Able to quickly foster, maintain, and influence key relationships with internal/external support partners including emergency response agencies.
- Diverse leadership experience with the public and private sectors.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the various lines of business which operate from London.
