Job Description
As an assistant manager within the Valuation and Business Modelling team, you will typically support the Engagement Manager on the valuation or business modelling assignments, engage with the client to document and assess information, report directly to the Engagement Manager; apply leading practice valuation tools, techniques and methodologies to carry out valuation research, analyse and develop initial valuation findings; works with and encourage analysts, ensure that the team delivers the detail to support the valuation report. In terms of business modelling, you will be typically required to support the Manager, engage with the client to build and review business models using best practice tools, techniques and methodologies. You will also be required to support the Engagement Manager in developing proposals to be submitted to clients.
You will also be required to use written communication skills to develop internal and client documentation, including valuation analysis, reports and recommendations, model review findings, data books, user-guides, diagnostic analysis and recommendations.
You will be required to manage assignment quality and risk on a day-to-day basis; manage, coach and develop client service team members and to identify opportunities for the firm generally across their client base. Other non client related roles would include working effectively as a team member by demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress. As Senior you will be required to help create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and support their development.
Technical skills requirements
· Very good knowledge of financial statement analysis, valuation concepts, approaches and the application
· Very good working knowledge of Microsoft excel
· Knowledge of IFRS
