Andersen Steinberg are currently recuriting a Global Head of Business Continuty on behalf of a leading Global bank. Based in London with a package of around 225,000 GBP.
· Working as part of the Chief of Staff’s office – alongside Quality, Operational Risk and Procurement
· Ability to execute role with a degree of autonomy while being mindful of when to seek guidance and approval.
· Occasional business travel may be required in the execution of the role
Requirements:
· Positive ‘can do’ attitude
· Fully conversant with Business Continuity principles, ethos, procedures in an Investment Banking environment from a Global Banking & Markets Business perspective
· The ability to look at Business Continuity Risk from a Business point of view – and then set-up the governance for people to deliver to them – lead the Testing, regulator piece, the Implementation
· Proven Change Management experience – leading global, complex, business-facing change programmes that involve and mobilise all infrastructure areas – Technology, Security, Premises, Corporate Communications, Compliance, HR
· Ability to work as a partner to the Business to guide them to a pragmatic, workable, sustainable Business Continuity solution
· Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, influencing, organisational skills
· A proven track record of managing significant change programmes within an Investment Banking environment
· Thorough experience of working in a matrix structured environment – possibly with a Group face-off
· Ability to communicate effectively globally to drive multi-faceted program
· Leadership of a major global change program with multiple stakeholders across various functions and geographies.
· Full front to back trade lifecycle experience in an Investment Banking environment
· Excellent relationship management skills with a track record of building collaborative relationships with senior business people.
· Excellent planning, time management and organization skills
· Experience with standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential
· Experience with the Group’s Project Management tool Clarity essential
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability manage a global team of 14 people
