Our client, one of the leading Financial Consultant firms, is currently looking to grow its Financial Consultancy team. We are looking for senior consultants who have a background knowledge and experience in this area. There are two roles in the Transaction Advisory Team, the areas of; 1) Financial Due Diligence 2) Valuation Business Modeling. Arabic is desirable though not a must. The roles will be based in Qatar.
1) Financial Due Diligence
As a senior within the Transaction Support team, you'll participate in financial due diligence engagements related to transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers.
You'll analyze the financial and operational results of companies targeted for sale by reviewing accounting records and participating in interviews with management.
You'll work effectively as a team member by demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
As an influential member of the team, you'll help to create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and support their development.
Technical skills requirements
► Knowledge of IFRS
► In-depth working knowledge of financial due diligence
Additional skills requirements
► Strong academic record including, a degree
► Excellent analytical and interpersonal abilities
► Ability to work well within a team
► Effective written and verbal communication in English essential and Arabic desirable
► Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
2) Valuation Business Modeling
Technical skills requirements
· Very good knowledge of financial statement analysis, valuation concepts, approaches and the application
· Very good working knowledge of Microsoft excel
· Knowledge of IFRS
