Andersen Steinberg are currently recruiting for one of their clients, a leading management consultancy, who are expanding their Risk Advisory team.  They are looking for Senior Managers, Managers and Consultants who are experts in Enterprise Risk Management.

Job Description

Manager Key responsibilities include:

Engagement Management:  

• Manage project work or selected work streams in ERM, risk management and risk systems integration.
• Supervise a project team in all components of ERM and/or risk management methodologies including risk diagnostics, identification, quantification, policies and procedures, monitoring, corporate governance and reporting, and risk technology systems
• Assist clients throughout the full lifecycle of ERM implementation, integration business process redesign, communication and training.
• Work with client's business units, including Enterprise Risk Management, IT, Internal, Legal, Strategic Planning, Risk Analytics and Finance to gain thorough understanding of the corporate risk processes and procedures development.
• Identify, define and document complex business specifications for risk platforms and procedures

Business Development: 

• Maintain contact with client management, assume leadership role in pursuit teams, and participate in all aspects of the proposal development process.

Domain Development: 

• Assist in the development of new intellectual capital for ERM and risk management methodologies, co author articles for publications, conduct leading edge research on  white papers, support development of marketing collateral, and assist in publishing articles in industry periodicals.

People Development: 

• Perform role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into staffing process, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities and actively participate in building a practice and training in ERM and risk management methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7 + years of working with most components of ERM and risk management, including risk processes, appetite and tolerances, risk quantification, governance and reporting, and technology and systems.
• 7 + years recent experience working as project manager within enterprise risk management or a specific risk management function within a consulting firm.
• 7 + years expertise in at least one area of ERM, Operational, Strategic, and/or Financial risks. Includes knowledge of the risk tools and processes within a specific risk area including risk diagnostics, policies and procedures, industry best practices; risk assessment, key driver analysis, risk quantification and modeling,
• 7 + years of interaction with management with a company's C-suite 
• 7 + years of working with ERM software and experience in applying finance-related computational techniques
• Minimum 3 years of experience creating business cases, evaluating financial performance, creating valuation models and performing market and competitive analysis
• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team of strategists

·         Executing the testing and implementation of new business processes.

• Bachelor's degree required with emphasis on business, finance, or economics; MBA preferred
• 80 to 100% weekly travel to client site is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree
• Bachelor's degree required with emphasis on business, finance, or economics; MBA preferred
• 4 + years of Significant interaction with management with a company's C-suite 
• 4 + years of management consulting experience with an emphasis in Strategy Consulting
• Professional Certifications Preferred: CRCMP, CRMP, PMP, CPA, Six Sigma, etc.
• 5 + years working in risk modeling and/or ERM software, including:

           @Risk

           Crystal Ball

           Enterprise Risk assessor

           Active Risk Manager
