Andersen Steinberg are currently recruiting for one of their clients, a leading Bank in Qatar, for a Senior Dealer in Islamic Banking.

Summary Structuring and transacting FX positions and hedges for customer transactions as well as for proprietary non-trading requirements Sourcing and transacting fixed income securities as directed, and ensuring orderly funding & settlement Researching and documenting fixed income opportunities Conducting proprietary FX trading transactions within approved Limits and guidelines

Capabilities Required Education: Tertiary level qualification in Finance. Experience: 10+ years experience in a similar job in a sizeable and active dealing environment Technical Skills: Very good knowledge and understanding of a wide range of financial market products; very good analysis and financial modeling skills; business development skills; Strong communication and presentation skills. Behavioral Skills: naturally oriented to strive for high performance and results.
