Job Description
Andersen Steinberg are currently seeking for one of their consulting clients, Analysts with experience in continuity of operations (COOP), disaster recovery (DR), or emergency management planning. Position also requires excellent writing skills as creation of technical documents is an essential element of this position. Will also provide support for continuity planning software tools. In this role, the successful candidate will:
• Provide consulting services to federal customers related to one or more of the following areas: COOP, DR, Continuity of Government (COG), emergency response, and pandemic influenza planning
• Conduct business impact analyses (BIA), risk assessments (RA), and vulnerability assessments (VA)
• Write, implement, and manage customer test, training, and exercise (TT&E) plans
• Represent the practice in support of client sales calls, as needed
• Compose proposal material
• Perform editing and proof-reading as required, support proposal production
• Assist in developing and maintaining project descriptions
• Support marketing and business development related initiatives
• Learn software features and present software training to clients.
We have current openings in Suburban MD; Washington, DC; Raleigh, NC, and Northern Virginia.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Should have a minimum of 1-3 years of recent COOP/DR planning experience, as well as some familiarity with applicable federal COOP/DR guidance and/or industry best practices.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills required
• Analytical, and data gathering skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office; graphics experience a plus
• Bachelor's degree in English, Mass Communications, or Technical Discipline
• Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment
• Excellent verbal communication/presentation skills
• Prior training experience, preferably with an enterprise software product helpful, but not required.
• CBCP desired, but not required.
• Exceptional customer service and client interface skills is absolutely mandatory
• Active security clearance a plus.
