Role and responsibilities- Set the infrastructure strategy based on the foundation's business needs and to manage evaluation, selection, implementation, management and maintenance of infrastructure systems;
- Provide secure, and reliable infrastructure systems by implementing effective infrastructure security, data back-up and disaster recovery plans, processes and systems
- Develop and implement data center and system administration best practices and standard processes/procedures
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct evaluations/assessments of new technologies/systems
- Manage implementation/upgrade projects and coordinate activities with application development and implementation groups; managing operating
- Build capacity planning and staff skills development
- Create configuration management plan and monitor its execution
- Create patch management plan and monitor its execution
- Create Help Desk environment along with processes and procedure
Qualifications:- A total of at least 5 years of work experience in Oracle EBS implementation infrastructure environments
- A bachelor's degree in computer engineering or science or related fields
- HP Servers High End capacity, Tape Library Backup Solutions, VERITAS, SAN Arrays, HBA Connections
- HP-UX OS, line command, Unix cluster
- Cisco Routers, Switches, PIX Firewalls, Cisco works, Bandwidth Management (QOS),
- HP Open view, Trivoli , LAN/WAN bandwidth management
- Oracle Applications EBS, oracle 10g database, REAL APPLICATION CLUSTER (RAC)
- High Availability (HA), Security Appliances, IDS, IPS
- Preference to local candidates (in Kuwait).
- Excellent command of the English language. Arabic is a strong plus
