SE1711D - IT Senior Practice Consultant

Job Description

The Senior Practice Consultant is expected to have the following skills

·         High level enterprise-wide IT Architecture skills, ability to map of I/T capabilities to business needs.

·         Familiarity with consulting and consulting sales cycle, although the role is delivery, the senior consultant is expected to participate in pre-sales cycles as a subject matter expert during meetings with clients and/or proposal writing.

·         Presentation and Negotiation Skills to support sales

·         Familiarity with defining relationships, information flow and translation of business processes/tools into IT applications and infrastructure

·         Familiarity with the various architectural components (facilities, hardware and software) used in data centres supporting business applications which may be running on multiple platforms with various software packages and in house developed systems

·         Ability to evaluate and select software, hardware infrastructure components to meet customer requirements and expected service levels

·         Ability to develop conceptual infrastructure designs which include servers, storage, workstations, middleware, non-application software, networks, and the physical facilities that support the applications and business processes required by the client.

·         Provide technical guidance to implementation team members throughout the project lifecycle.

·         Expected to lead implementation of an Infrastructure Consulting project or be responsible for subsystem implementation in a large programme.

This role involves working with customers, vendors, subcontractors and personnel inside and outside project with presentations on project-related topics. Influence may extend to both management and non-management personnel.

Required

·         Bachelor's Degree

·         At least 7 years experience in a similar role

·         English: Fluent, Arabic preferred

Expected Certifications

·         PMP or Prince2 Project Management

·         Minimum ITIL foundation

·         Another relevant technical certification
