Position Description The Director – Head of Markets will be responsible for leading our marketing efforts for Bahrain and Qatar to enhance our reputation, market leadership and drive growth for the firm. The job will be a mix of back office and front office role. The director will report directly to the Head of Risk Advisory Services, Bahrain and Qatar. General 1.1 Develop Marketing plans in concurrence with the Heads of functions in Bahrain/Qatar 1.2 Prepare a budget for specific tasks, as applicable 1.3 Carry out routine duties to help meet objectives in enhancing our reputation, market leadership and quality growth 1.4 Communicating important news on key industries, clients and competitors to partners, Heads of functions and senior management in Bahrain/Qatar General Marketing 1.5 Develop brand-compliant sales/marketing collateral for service lines/service offerings, where applicable leveraging existing firm collateral and tailoring to the region, when possible 1.6 Develop collateral according to standards/requirements for various events/client meetings 1.7 Serve as brand reviewer of all firm marketing materials 1.8 Identify and coordinate distribution channels for sales/marketing collateral 1.9 Source and secure promotional items from suppliers/other offices and negotiate reasonable prices (for events such as Careers Days and seminars) 1.10 Develop all firm advertising 1.11 Organize trade shows, press events and external conferences/seminars 1.12 Serve as Webmaster for both Bahrain and Qatar Web sites Client Acquisition and Retention 1.13 Oversee the maintenance and future development of the firm’s CRM system, including management of firm Client Satisfaction Program, pipeline activity, and account management. 1.14 Oversee the progression of the firm’s national account management program in conjunction with lead partners Proposal Coordination 1.15 Assist in proposal development for all key accounts and large-scale proposals; provide marketing assistance in developing key messages, credentials, etc. 1.16 Establish a proposal tracking process and monitor firm pipeline activity Competitors’ Information 1.17 Collate information on other Big Four and selected medium sized firms focusing on services, department structure, pricing, marketing strategy, etc. 1.18 Monitor competitor activity in the local markets Communications 1.19 Draft all firm press releases/news stories 1.20 Serve as primary PR contact and media liaison for both Bahrain and Qatar 1.21 Ensure accuracy of Bahrain/Qatar country information within the Company as well as external sources 1.22 Provide layout/editorial guidance on internal communications, including the CSR People and Community Newsletter 1.23 Prepare monthly/quarterly marketing specific report according to requirements Administration 1.24 Meet on a regular basis with service line leaders to brainstorm on new ideas/suggestions 1.25 Update marketing portal The Individual: Minimum qualifications and experience - Bachelors degree in a related business field - MBA is highly desirable - 10 years of relevant experience, with 5 years at Senior Management level - Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations - Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations - Strong knowledge of the accounting and auditing industry, and the sales function to provide leadership and guidance from a marketing perspective Personal Attributes - Ability to motivate teams to enhance sales within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. - Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings - Demonstration of focus on revenue generation through hands-on sales leadership, product training, motivational mind set and measurable results.
