Andersen Steinberg are recruiting aBusiness Contintuity Consultant (Perm) on behalf of a leading multinational consultancy.The right candidate will workalong with business consultant partners with internal and external clients toidentify, recommend and implement procedures and controls that improve theclient's contingency planning posture. The ideal canddiate has a mix ofexperience with the following:

• Risk assessments (RA)
• Business impact analysis (BIA)
• Creating contingency plans
• Developing and enhancing DR solutions
• Exercising associated plans
• Producing post-mortem reports
  
  The incumbent will be responsible for implementing procedure and process controls, such as working with the data center operations teams in identifying backup schedules, encryption options, tape and image based solutions, and developing, soliciting and reviewing recovery documentation and business controls, such as evacuation plans, escalation procedures, and employee awareness and training programs.
  
  The successful candidate should have the following;

Ability to demonstrate anunderstanding of both business and technical controls as related to businesscontinuity / disaster recovery. Ability to utilize current business continuitytools and techniques to enhance the success of deliverables and services forthe client, inlcuding TT&E, COOP Planning Templates, and Post MortemReports. Ability to identify areas forimprovement in business continuity / disaster recovery processes and act as afacilitator to data center operations personnel on the execution of exercises. Possession of excellent oral andwritten communications skills.
