Andersen Steinberg are currently recruiting a BCM training and project officer on behalf of a leading global bank. The role of the Business Continuity Management Training & Project Officer, Asia Pacific initially is to support the regional Business Continuity Management team to train and support the businesses in the deployment of the new online business continuity plan repository – Living Disaster Recovery Planning System (LDRPS). Subsequent exposure to other reporting and project work will depend on the candidate’s interest and potential in this field.
While training and guidance is provided, the ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of logistical ; training and support related tasks and needs to be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy not only logistic challenges but training delivery and support.
The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
The candidate will be located either in Hong Kong or Singapore.
