As a PMO Executive Director, you'll display an especially high level of competency in at least two of these three areas: business development, PMO delivery, and business transformation consulting. You will have strong client delivery and engagement management experience. Being a trusted advisor, you'll identify and develop client and market growth opportunities and use your key subject matter knowledge to develop thought leadership for clients. Drawing on your knowledge and experience, you'll facilitate resolution of conflicts and politically sensitive issues internally and with client teams. As a valued leader, you'll create and direct high-performing teams across the firm improve others' learning opportunities and create and deliver cross team practice learning events. And as a role model, you'll determine that all client work is delivered to a high standard of quality in accordance with Quality & Risk Management guidelines.
Client responsibilities
► Leading PMO engagements
► Plan, prepare and review deliverables in various forms including written reports, presentations and discussions with clients, teams and other parties
► Communicate significant issues, fees, and estimates to complete to clients
► Leverage client relationships to drive new business opportunities
► Understand our full service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients.
► Build strong internal relationships within Advisory and across other services
► Act as a leader of the business and as a role model for staff
People responsibilities
► Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff
► Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
► Drive people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training finance professionals
► Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills
► Understand, follow and communicate workplace policies and procedures to all levels of staff
► Develop personal profile and awareness of offerings in the marketplace
► Build strong and long term relationships with key client sponsors
► Manage risk of delivery on client engagements
► Manage all financial aspects of client engagements
► Act as an ambassador of in the market and with clients
Technical skills requirements
You'll have knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas:

Additional requirements
► Track record with a blue chip consulting firm leading major change programs
► MBA or accounting qualification or equivalent
► Strong academic record including a degree
► Proven experience in business development
